Caring and Sharing assistance
includes food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Through our
Giving Tree Program at Christmas, children 12 and under are provided
gifts and children 13 through 18 (and are in school) receive gift
certificates.
We also receive donations
of usable clothing and household items which are available during
distribution Sunday.
Registration is a must!
The 2008 dates for interviews are as follows:
Saturday October 18th,
1-4 pm
Sunday October 19th, 1-4
pm
Monday October 20th, 5-8 pm.
Interviews will be held
at the Good Samaritan Clinic at 4435 Gulf Breeze Parkway and at
the Navarre Presbyterian Church at 1870 Lowe Road.
You must live in South
Santa Rosa County, FL. Our boundaries are from the Okaloosa county
line north to the Yellow River and west to include Gulf Breeze.
You must bring the Following:
— Drivers licenses or photo ID for applicant and spouse or
partner
— Proof of residence ( a recent utility bill with current
address)
— Proof of all household income
--------- Paycheck
stub, social security, pension,
--------- W2 form, TANF, child support, alimony, etc.
— Social Security card of all household members (including
children)
— Rent or mortgage payment receipt from most recent month
Distributions are typically
from 12-3 PM:
Thanksgiving - West Navarre Elementary - 23 November, 2008
Christmas - Oriole Beach Elementary - 21 December, 2008
For parents of children
12 and younger, please take note of this suggestion. Although we
cannot gaurantee getting any particular item requested, when putting
together your wish list for your children, be as specific as possible.
Clothing sizes, game brands, musical artists and titles for CDs,
bicycle style and tire sizes, etc., greatly facilitate someone who
has never seen or met your child to find the item being requested.
The more specific you are, the more likely your child is to receive
what he or she may want or need. For example, "video games"
is not specific enough. However, "The Sims Pet Stories for
PC" would allow a shopper to get specifically what is desired.
